What is the point of that build? Looks like drawing random skills out of a hat and assigning them to your skill bar.. at least you don't have 2 weapons on there.

not to mention: no elite, no deep wound, and three stances that can be completely replaced by escape.

The only reason you will ever take an R/W over W/x using a Warrior weapon in PvE is [skill]Expert's Dexterity[/skill]. Otherwise you are just making a waste of yourself.

How about...
1.) [skill]Escape[/skill]
2.) [skill]Cyclone Axe[/skill]
3.) [skill]Dismember[/skill]
4.) [skill]Distracting Blow[/skill] or Keen Chop.
5.) [skill]Apply Poison[/skill]
6.) [skill]Troll Unguent[/skill]
7.) [skill]Antidote Signet[/skill]
8.) [skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
or something...
14 Expertise
12 Axe Mastery
10 Wilderness Survival
Get a max damage Poisonous Axe of Shelter. All mods should be perfect.
You can get a +5e +30 health shield too.
You can get full Scout's Insignia if you want. That way, you'd have 95 armor against physical damage with the axe, shield, and insignias.
The point of the build is to pressure a group with poison and then kill .
1.) Escape is your defensive stance.
2.) Cyclone axe spread the poison around after you use Apply Poison.
3.) Dismember is there cuz deep wound is awesome.
4.) Distracting blow is your replacement for the ranger interrupts.
or Keen Chop for damage.
5.) Apply Poison, cuz it's very nice with cyclone axe.
6.) Troll Unguent is your heal.
7.) Antidote Signet is there cuz Blind is ANNOYING. -__-x
8.) Hard Rez

The reason it does not work very well is because you are not justifying having Ranger primary. A Warrior could do what you're trying to do, but much better. Expertise is nearly the whole point of using Ranger primary in a build using a melee weapon, and you aren't really putting it to any use, nor any of the good Ranger-specific elites. If you want a good R/W build, just put together a standard Thumper build with a hammer.

Strength's innate is possibly (probably) the worst of all the classes.
Melee rangers are pretty much thumpers.

Use [skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill][skill]"On Your Knees!"[/skill][wiki]Club of a Thousand Bears[/wiki], gives a sustainable 33% IAS and 75% block.

only good melee ranger next to thumper would be a [skill]hundred blades[/skill] (bad) [skill]cyclone axe[/skill]+[skill]Triple Chop[/skill] or [skill]Crude Swing[/skill] bar with Save Yourselves and [skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill] and some defensive stances ([skill]Lightning Reflexes[/skill], [skill]Escape[/skill] and [skill]Dryder's Defenses[/skill] most commonly)
